Mary Dawn has been papercrafting since 2008 and loves the sense of community within the crafting industry. She lives in Kentucky with her 2 gorgeous children, husband and a cat named Squirrel. She is on the design team for Clearsnap, has been published numerous times and was even crowned Stamping Royalty 2011 by Paper Crafts Magazine. Linda Trace
Linda has been papercrafting seriously for about 4 years, but has always had an interest in crafts, stationary and papers (it was always going to lead to card making and scrapbooking). Linda lives in Melbourne, Australia with her 2 precious daughters, husband and 2 noisy dogs. She was the blog and design team coordinator for a small Indiana-based scrapbooking store for almost a year before they had to close their doors. Her blog, Papertracer, started in April 2010. The best part about the papercrafting industry (apart from all of the amazing products and pretty papers) is the group of friends that she has made from all over the world.
How this blog came to be:
One day Mary Dawn and Linda had been talking about how much they love Hero Arts products and one or another of them (Linda will say it was her, but Mary Dawn will disagree lol) said, "Why hasn't anyone ever done a challenge blog for Hero Arts products?!"
After a few moments of stunned silence between them, as the possibilities unravelled in their minds, they both said "Let's do it!" After a little research into the Hero Arts company and where the name came from, A Blog Named Hero was born.
