It's Kelly here and I'm here to share how I used one stamp three ways. I absolutely love using my stamps in multiple ways. There are so many different looks you can achieve. The stamp I chose to work with today is Hero Arts Large Flower Background. For me this was one of those stamps I HAD to have the moment I saw it :)
Let's dive in!
First up using it as . . . .a background! Shocking I know lol
I really wanted the stamp to look like pretty patterned paper. I decided to keep it fairly neutral though so I didn't over shadow my focal point. I stamped the background in black then colored the mini flowers with my copics.
Moving on . . .. to Borders!
This is a stamp that can easily carry a whole card but I love CAS style so I didn't want to use the whole stamp. After I colored I trimmed out just the right side of the stamp creating a pretty border.
What did I do with the left side you ask . . . .I trimmed out just one sweet flower
Because this stamp is so detailed you can simply trim out one flower to create your focal point. So pretty :)
Thanks for stopping in to visit us I hope you found something to inspire you :)
